One Tucson team for the whole home

Picture Rocks Cooling, Heating & Plumbing handles air conditioning, heating, indoor air quality, and plumbing for Tucson and the surrounding area — one company, one dispatch line, one written guarantee on the work.

On HVAC work, we test with instruments instead of guessing — and installs run the full process: pre-measurement, a Manual J heat-load calculation, ductwork testing, and a scored measureQuick verification before we call it done. On plumbing, the proof is just as real — sewer scopes on video, water quality tested with a meter, pressure measured with real tools.

The jobs we run most: same-day AC repair, AC installation, furnace repair, and water heaters.

Which service should I choose?

Choose by what changed, not by the part you think failed. A house that will not cool to the thermostat setting belongs under AC services. Long runs in extreme Tucson heat can be normal; repeated, unusually brief cooling runs are a different symptom worth describing.

If your house will not warm to the thermostat setting, start with heating. Many Tucson homes use heat pumps, so a heating problem does not necessarily mean a furnace problem. For a dripping fixture, slow drain or change in hot water, choose plumbing. You do not need a diagnosis before calling.

What to tell us before your first visit

Tell us when the problem started, whether it comes and goes, and which rooms or fixtures are affected. For cooling trouble, note the thermostat setting and the temperature it actually shows. Mention recent filter changes or whether the trouble began after a dusty monsoon storm. Tucson's long cooling season runs March into October.

For plumbing, say whether one fixture or several have changed. If your home uses a well or septic system, mention that too; some homes around Picture Rocks and outlying Marana do. Describe what you can observe without opening equipment or taking anything apart.

What happens at a first service appointment?

A technician typically checks the reported symptom and the equipment or fixtures connected to it. For cooling, that may mean checking airflow and thermostat operation; for plumbing, whether the problem is isolated to one fixture or shared across the house. The symptom guides the checks, rather than a guessed replacement part.

The price goes in writing before work starts. Ask what the findings explain, what work is recommended and what can wait.
